Persian

Fārsī or Persian, belonging to the Inranian branch, is the official language of Iran. This Indo-Iranian language is known for its two popular types, Dari and Tajik which further are the official languages of Afghanistan and Tajikistan respectively. Persian literature is influenced widely by Arabic.
